In 2017 a few ladies decided to go to breakfast after church. We talked about all types of things for hours and agreed unanimously we need a women’s ministry. Jan drew up a mission statement and presented it to Pastor the following Sunday and JEWELZ FOR JESUS was born.

JEWELZ FOR JESUS got off the ground running and invited all the women of Mount pleasant to an ice breaker. It was standing room only. The beginning of the year we had our 1st event “New Year New Me” and we we at full capacity. We reached out to our younger women and had a Human trafficking event to enlighten and educate them about the topic.

One event titled, “Cupcakes and Conversation” we had several speakers come and share life experiences as Christian women. JEWELZ FOR JESUS has fund raisers, makes visits and support through feeding women and at shelters. We have extended our ministry with DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH…our young women reaching the younger women.
